To mark the launch of the Product Design Strategy course, the design team at Future London Academy developed a new visual identity. This course is specifically designed for Heads of UX aiming to play an active role in strategic decision-making and craft well-structured product roadmaps. It offers a thorough experience, combining practical insights, exercises, and concise lessons from the VP of Product Design at Headspace, ensuring you gain the knowledge needed to excel as a Product Design Leader.
The core themes of the Product Design Strategy course are integrity, collaboration, communication, and the relationship between design and business. These are represented through soft, interwoven shapes that resemble knots, symbolizing both the challenge and the solution, much like the intricate process of building a solid plan and strategy.
These knots are integrated with semi-transparent, misty blocks, subtly nodding to both digital elements found in modern apps and the glassmorphism trend. The blocks are arranged within a consistent grid, with sharp corners that reflect the Academy’s existing brand identity. Their transparency and colors are adaptable, allowing the emphasis of key pieces of information.
Additionally, the design team introduced 3D white icons to add an expressive and human-centered touch to the brand's overall visual appeal.
