Blue Press is a dynamic publishing house dedicated to creating a wide range of engaging puzzles, such as crosswords, Sudoku, nonograms, and word searches. The challenge was to craft a visually striking and thoughtfully structured identity system that resonates with both adults and younger audiences, capturing the universal appeal of puzzles.
The concept draws inspiration from the humble ballpoint pen, an iconic tool synonymous with solving puzzles and jotting down ideas. This inspiration gave rise to the brand’s signature element: whimsical illustrations that mimic the charm of spontaneous, freehand sketches. These lively visuals not only reflect the creativity and problem-solving nature of puzzles but also infuse the brand with a sense of playfulness and approachability, bridging the gap between generations and making the experience universally enjoyable.
