Paloma Coffee, a well-established and respected roastery, sought to convey its professionalism through a refined design during its rebranding process. Rather than making drastic changes to the logo, the focus was on enhancing the packaging system, which includes a box, an outer sleeve, and an inner coffee bag. The box features an embossed design with floating letters inspired by birds in the sky, a visual nod to the brand's name, Paloma. The outer sleeve presented a challenge, as it needed to balance both aesthetic appeal and functionality, enabling quick assembly at the roastery while remaining intuitive for customers. To distinguish the different coffee varieties, we used distinct tint colors for the filter, espresso, and limited edition options.
Previously, the brand faced challenges with rigid designs that were difficult to adapt for specific occasions. We addressed this by establishing a simple yet strong design foundation that facilitates collaboration with other creators and allows for easy adjustments for events, without compromising the brand's identity. A key goal was to create a versatile design that would not need to be redesigned anytime soon. We’re excited to introduce new products, including Drip Coffee Bags and limited edition packaging developed in collaboration with various artists.
